Commentary: Mass. clean energy lead is not a given



Competition across states to lead the clean energy economy is fiercer than ever. Massachusetts is no longer simply competing with other climate-forward states. Southern states have announced over 500 gigawatt hours of new battery manufacturing; Texas has added 22.8 gigawatts of new wind and solar and built the transmission to bring that power to customers.
