Former president Donald Trump misstated his own son’s age in a TV interview, saying that his youngest son Barron Trump was 17 when he is actually 18.
Trump was speaking to Miami-based Spanish-language network Telemundo 51 on May 9 when he was asked a question about his son Barron entering politics as a delegate from Florida at the upcoming Republican National Convention.
“He’s pretty young, I will say. He’s 17,” Trump said in the interview. Barron Trump turned 18 in March.
