Microsoft Store bug deletes Xbox Wishlists for hundreds of players

Microsoft’s handy Xbox Wishlist feature, which allows you to add the best Xbox games, apps, and movies to a wish list and receive notifications each time an item goes on sale, has been causing a spot of bother over the weekend, with reports that a bug has erased Xbox Wishlists for hundreds of players.

Reports of deleted Xbox wishlists began over the past few days and it appears that the bug has hit a significant number of users. All across social media, users are complaining about the issue, with some claiming they’ve lost large lists of up to 200 carefully curated items.

Bug erases Xbox wishlist

As per the Xbox Support, Microsoft says the wishlist feature is “up and running” without issue, but clearly, this isn’t the case — even trying to add new games to a wishlist isn’t working. Hopefully, this is just some sort of bug that will be resolved soon, and players won’t have to rebuild their wishlists from scratch.

Has your Xbox Wishlist been emptied? If it has, you may want to start making use of TrueAcheivements’ Wish List feature.
