Pat Connor (seven goals, five assists), Teddy Lynch (six goals, two assists), and Will Codner (five goals, two assists) led Quincy/North Quincy to a 21-6 victory over Somerville in nonleague play. … Drew Bossi racked up four goals and five assists while Cam McCarthy added a hat trick as St John’s Prep won 14-8 over Billerica.
SOFTBALL
Tess Murphy hit a grand slam and Penny Saich went 3-4 with two RBI as Norwell defeated Cohasset, 10-9, in a South Shore League game.
In nonleague action, Olivia Gallo collected three hits as Middleboro defeated Greater New Bedford 5-2.
In the Independent Schools League, Nia Phillips struck out 13 in a one-hitter as Milton Academy (4-3) blanked Lawrence Academy 9-0. … Jackie Giordano pitched a seven-hitter and also went 2-for-4 with two RBI as Brooks defeated Governor’s, 15-3.
Carly DiMento, Kiley Hogan and Carly Smith all homered as Tyngsboro defeated Oakmont, 7-4.
BASEBALL
Matt Cooke threw a complete game striking out seven while Phil Lombardi, Anthony DiFranco, and Cam Kingston each had two hits as Tewksbury (4-5) defeated Winchester, 9-1, in nonleague play.
Alastair Rose struck out 15, while Riggs Catlin, Jack Murray and Emilio Manz combined to go 7-for-8 with three runs scored as Noble and Greenough blanked Thayer Academy 3-0 in the Independent School League. … Oisin Lee pitched a complete-game shutout, striking out six, as St, Mark’s beat Belmont Hill, 3-0.
