SOFTBALL

Elsie Testa tossed a complete-game six-hitter and also drove in a run as Abington (2-0) defeated Pembroke 2-0 in a nonleague contest… Lauren Bernaiche struck out 10 while Christina Magnett smacked a pair of home runs to lead Apponequet to a 15-3 win over New Bedford…. Madison Nereu fanned 11 and drove in a pair of RBI at the plate as Wareham defeated Upper Cape 17-3.

In a Middlesex League game, Jackie Sullivan smashed a home run and Kathryn Sliski added three RBI as Wakefield defeated Woburn, 11-5.

In Tri-Valley League action, Katie Anderson hit a grand slam and Allyson Fagan recorded three hits to pace Medway to a 13-5 win over Bellingham.

Ariana Kreuzer went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored as Walpole rolled to a 13-1 Bay State Conference win over Weymouth in five innings.

In a nonleague matchup, Gabbi Wickeri went 2-for-4 with two RBI as Beverly bested Essex Tech 7-1.

BASEBALL

Donovan Burgo drove in a pair of runs as Dartmouth edged Bishop Stang 3-2 in a nonleague contest. … Landon Richardson fanned 10 as Somerset Berkley edged Seekonk, 2-1. … Jacob Getchell recorded a pair of hits and Dan Joyce hit a two-run double to lead Whitman-Hanson to a 4-1 win over Brockton.

In Tri-Valley League action, Josh Bouchard recorded a double and a single for three RBI to boost Bellingham to a 10-3 victory over Medfield.

BOYS LACROSSE

Hunter Grafton notched his 300th career point, finishing with five goals and five assists, as Abington defeated East Bridgewater 16-3 in a South Shore league matchup.

In a nonleague matchup, Nikos Triantafillou finished with seven goals and a pair of assists while Brendan Rosher added three goals and three assists to lead Bridgewater-Raynham past Bishop Feehan, 15-10.

Brady Tersolo and Jake Ryan both netted two goals to lead Danvers to a win over St. Mary’s, 8-6, in a nonleague matchup.

GIRLS LACROSSE

In a nonleague contest, Coco Clopton scored five goals and two assists as Swampscott bested Essex Tech 13-3.

Kelsey Palmer netted the winning goal with one minute twenty seconds remaining to lift Dighton-Rehoboth (1-0) to a 13-12 victory over Norton in a nonleague matchup. Karina Bosco scored six goals and supplied two assists for the Falcons.

Allie Wile scored four goals to lift Ipswich to a 9-6 win over Beverly in a Northeastern Conference game.

In Patriot League action, Bailey Kelly and Shannon Balfe each had two goals to lead Whitman Hanson past North Quincy, 9-4.
